WSB-TV new weekend meterologist

WSB-TV has a new weekend meterologist, Brad Nitz. He comes from WESH Orlando.

David Chandley will be moving to the weekday 5 PM news. Glenn Burns will still do the 6 PM and 11 PM news, and Karen Minton still on mornings and at noon.

This marks the first major change in the duties of the weather lineup since 1988 (for those from out of town who don't believe this, I am not kidding).

I wonder if Glenn Burns is getting ready to retire (like Monica), and this is another transition?

Glad to see that David is moving up the chain a little bit. Makes having a fill-in for Glenn or Karen easier. David has been a trooper by holding down weekends for over 15 years.

Glen Burns is the best weather forecaster ive ever seen esp. when tornadoes are around. he is best on his doppler radar. Wish he would move to the LEX, Kentucky tv market hehe <P ID="signature">______________
