WSB TVs main '2' logo hardly ever uses ABC logo...

I realize they they show the ABC logo only during network promos. But, I still don't understand why they continue to conceal ABC's logo at all. Some other Cox stations have started using it all the time. I know this is probably something that bothers me more than the average person. But, to me it seems like Channel 2 thinks of ABC as an afterthought... almost like they're not even proud of the network they carry. And the fact that they still preempt ABC primetime for local specials certainly doesn't help! Lol Anyway, this has always bothered me and wonder if anyone has any insight on this.

No insight except that it has always seemed like WSB was WSB "Lookit how awesome we are -we'll even tell you after this break!" and nothing about the network at all. They have such a lock locally, it's probably true they could leave ABC and still hang on to nearly every viewer. And that's a shame in my opinion. Their local news is unwatchable, with teaser after teaser for upcoming stories, the coverage of which ends up being less than the time spent teasing it. Stupid graphics especially with still pictures look as bad as cable access.

WAGA is far from perfect either, especially how they MUST use the word "yeah" when handing off between anchors. Watch it. Listen for yeah. YeahNews5.
