News Talk Program Director

WSBA-AM York PA’s News/Talk heritage radio station has a rare opening for a Program Director and morning show co-host.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum experience 5 years in News/Talk programming
· On-air talk show experience
· Integrates web and social media platforms with the on-air product
· Writes and oversee production of station imaging campaigns
· Meets sales staff to brainstorm, plan and execute sales opportunities.
· Develop compelling listener-engagement content integrated with on-air.
· Plans and supervises all on-air programming and production.
· Schedules staff for on-air shifts, remotes, and appearances.
· Develops and coach local talent

Well, suffice it to say `ol Porky Pig is probably shaking in his boots right about now. He won't be handed the reigns, if anyone actually knows what they're doing over there, and there aren't many sportscaster jobs in Central PA.
