WSBB-FM Reception Issues

At first I thought something was wrong with my radio, but all of the other stations are okay. 95.5 has lots of static inside the perimeter. I drove across the north end of I-285 and it was so bad I switched over to the AM. This has been going on since We'd.

Are they on the aux antenna or at reduced power?

Sorry to hear about the bad reception, they are almost certainly on reduced power, and hopefully just for scheduled maintence. It's neat that your instinct was to turn to 750, despite WSB's attempts to remove that brand recognition. Ground Conductivity is horrible in Atlanta, but you still get a further distance on WSB!

I noticed that LPFM 93.5, W228CA/Suwanee now simulcasts WSB Radio. Comes in very well where I live now, in Braselton (I really don't have issues getting 95.5). Not sure if the translator has always been there but both Wikipedia, as well as radio locator still lists it as "Alternative". So it must be temporary until the parent FM signal at 95.5 gets resolved I'm guessing... 🤔

The other day TOSOTR was still mentioning W228CA Suwanee in their TOH ID. 93.5 had TOSOTR a while back but not in the last few years.

I believe W228CA is a translator not a LPFM.

Probably mostly for Hall County/Gainesville.
