WSBG AM 1400 coming back on the air soon

I seen on the open mic daily facebook page where someone posted about seeing a new Tower going up at WSBG AM 1400 radio station and i also seen on The FCC website where FCC Granted them an Temporary authorization Lic to allow them to tempoary broadcast using an Emergency Broadcast Antenna and the current owners maybe sale the station to someone who has the Financial to get the station back on the air. the Tempoary License is for 900 watts.

so let hope the station does get back on the air and since they lost the ESPN Affiliation may have do a different format

and WSPBG am 1400 been off the air since January 2014

For anyone who might be confused, this is referring to WSPG in Spartanburg.

1400 is back on. It's running regional Mexican music. Signal in Spartanburg seems fairly close to what it was before the tower collapse. Don't know if it is going to stay back on long-term or just long enough to keep the license active.

The station will be the radio home of Spartanburg High School Vikings football and the University of South Carolina Gamecocks baseball,
