I’m new. Started my career in 1950 as announcer at WGLS Decatur while at Ga Tech. Moved to WSB in 1955 working for Elmo Ellis with great announcers Bob Van Camp, Jimmy Bridges, Jerry Vandeventer, Mike McDougald and many more. Stayed with Cox Broadcasting 30 years in sales and GM of WIOD Miami and KFI LA.Then Executive VP Radio. Left in 1984 to buy Plough Broadcasting. Later bought two other groups.

Some of you have suggested a radio book about Atlanta personalities. I wrote “Radio Memories” by Jim Wesley in 2011. Stilll available on Amazon for $7.99 if you’re interested. Memories and photos of several personalities.
