WSB's Mark Arum Gets Daily Talk Show in CT

Neal Boortz mentioned it this morning.

The versatile Mark Arum--morning traffic reporter on WSB TV and radio, sports/talk show host and news/talk show host--has a new daily talk show on Cox's news/talk stations in Connecticut, WSTC in Stamford and WNLK in Norwalk. Mark will do the show from Atlanta.

It's no surprise he's been on a fast track. He's smart, informed, opinionated, patient and funny. He's had his own show for a few months on WSB-AM on Saturdays from 6-9PM.

Congratulations, Mark.

I agree, he is a remarkable talent. He filled-in on WSB-TV news for the sports anchor a year or two ago and he was great at that job. I don't know why he isn't the sports anchor, instead of traffic team reporter.

Good to hear that another good guy gets a good gig. Mark is quick on his feet, conversational... NOT confrontational..., asks questions getting the callers to open up, and actually can host a dialogue as opposed to a monologue. Good for him!

He is now on two great local stations within spitball distance of NYC.

Congrats, this is a good thing!
