I thought Radio Info told you to stop self promoting yourself or you'd get banned?
I'd give your site a 5 1/2 out of 10.
You've got the information there.. but your first page is WAYYY too long with too much information.
THe next on the main page and advertisers page is way too big.... and too bright.
Yellow text on a black background works. So does black text on white background.
just be simple and get the information across.

I liked the plan to use interns to paint the tower......
December 1 is right around the corner, How 'bout it Woodrow - will we be listening to "The Brewed Awakening" on Monday? Will the radio station be on the air then?

The Brewed Awakening will be running. The crystals from International have not arrived yet, we are day to day. We got our STA extended to 12/10 incase we need it. Gonna be damn close but they do have to age those crystals...

Woody.. "Accepted For Filing" is what your STA currently sits at. That doesn't mean "Granted"
however, you will supposedly be back on the air by 12/10.. thing is, it'll take AT LEAST that long to process the application. Smooth move... even if they denied it 3 weeks later, you are safe as long as it is in processing.

Does the callsign have anything to do with an AM/FM/TV combo located in a certain major market, with a three-letter callsign that looks very identical to this four-letter one?
This callsign was used on a small daytime-only station in Illinois in 2003...located at 750 kHz. Obviously a play on that certain major market station that shares the same frequency. Lasted two months until that bigger station complained.

Now that you mention it, how did they get that call assignment without drawing objections from "that certain major market station that" has a quite similar callsign? My take on that company is that they jealously guard against that sort of encroachment upon their identity. Things could get contentuous before very long.

Our identity with WSBX is totally different. It stands for something totally different

Yes, but WSBX is awfully close to WSB. What I am saying is that Cox may not appreciate that your callsigns are so similar.
Witchlover said:Well, I hope you're right. The Illinois station was operating on the same frequency, and 1020 isn't very likely to be confused with 750, so maybe they will not bother you about it. But you will do well to keep in mind that this could happen. Good luck!
