WSCR: Excess Personalities

Hi...
I am neither a radio insider nor a resident of Chicago, but I had a couple of questions about WSCR, to which I listen on the internet at work.

*Was Mike Murphy bought out?
*If so, would anyone want him after his no-compete expires?
*If not, will he be given a weekend or late-night shift?
*The station seems to have a zillion people who do one shift a month or so (or maybe once a week ). Are some of them going to disappear (or are thay also selling ad time?)
*Are the three weekday daytime programs loooong?? Can even the best hosts sustain that much time on air and remain interesting?
*What did people detest so much about Mike Murphy, anyway? As a non-Chicago resident, he seemed OK to me. I found the "feuds" amusing, actually. Why was there so much glee when he got canned? Did it come from inside the station as well as outside?

Thanx...
Jim

I'm not aware of any "glee" that Murphy got canned. The last I heard he was offered weekend & fill in work on the Score.
