DAN McNEIL RETURNS TO THE SCORE

NEW MID-DAY SHOW DEBUTS MONDAY, JUNE 15

CHICAGO, IL — WSCR Sports Radio 670 is pleased to announce that Dan McNeil is returning to the Score. McNeil, an original Score Personality and a more than nine year afternoon drive host, will launch "The Danny Mac Show." The program will broadcast on-air, online (www.670thescore.com) and via a variety of mobile devices from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Monday-Friday beginning on Monday, June 15.


"I've been in 'training camp' for this for more than four months," said McNeil. "It's time to let the tigers out. This is a chance to win in a brand new day part for me and in a slot that has become more meaningful. We've got a great crew.”



“It’s awesome to have Mac back on the Score team,” said Mitch Rosen, WSCR-AM Program Director. “Mac returns to where it all began for sports radio in Chicago - the Score. With the addition of Mac, the line-up now becomes a Chicago radio All-Star dream team along with Mully, Hanley, Boers, and Bernstein. ”

The new daytime lineup will be as follows:

5:00-9:00AM The Mully & Hanley Show

9:00AM-1:00PM The Danny Mac Show

1:00-6:00PM The Boers & Bernstein Show (Dan McNeil will contribute to the first half hour of the Boers & Bernstein program)

Mac sucks ssooooo baadd. i can't even listen to the score anymore. This new shake up sucks so much. They have messed this staion up som much. It used to be a fun local guy sports show now its getting more and more like ESPN light which is not a good thing. Whats next bring in JHim Rome and makme the station completely gay. This station was great back when it had the likes of Jiggetts, North, Bufone, and the new holmes and Hamp show was good. Need george back for the announcements. Trying to listen to Mcneil is like shoving a bamboo sliver into my brain and spiegel my god is he boorrrriiing. Hoiw anyone can listen to these guys is beyond me youd have to be brain dead and hate sports as more then 3 seconds and yoiur brain shuts them out... score was such a good thing and every year it just keeps dropping..Guess I have to sports station anymore in a city as large as Chicago to listen chicago sports..damn it oput Murphy back on too and maybe less Boers and Berstein as they have gotten to off the point with too much personal garbage. They are great when doing skits and events but need to come down a bit on the high horse somedays

I have to disagree. McNeil is better than Murphy. The only thing Murphy can talk about is the cubs.
Les Grobstein is back on overnights which is good. Local all night instead of satellite.
