WSCR: Terrible Faux Sox Post Game

How long since we were in a World Series? How long since we won one? And WSCR let their worst weekenders/fill-ins do their faux Sox Post Games? (WMVP is the rights-holder) It's an absolute insult that Jessie Rogers & Larry Holmes are on the air in Chicago at their first radio jobs and they're trying to give me a historical perspective on radio & sports. What's wrong CBS - you didn't want to pay the Big Guys to come in after-hours for some overtime?

Because it's just the Sox....now if it was the Cubs...the big money guys would be there because face it....Sox winning the world series is just no big deal.

Oh, but it is. They wouldn't be talking about it so much if it wasn't.

I love the no-big-deal talk. Channel 7 has been showing a plane landing and procession from the airport for 90 minutes now. It's a major, major story.

I think almost everyone around here thinks it's fantastic that the 'Sox won the World Series and in a sweep no less! Pretty awesome. Maybe there are a few jealous Cubs fans around, but there's plenty of room on the 'Sox bandwagon.

Spoken like a jealous non-baseball lovin, only for the atmosphere, upset that a team with less than 1/2 their payroll had a better records, Cubs fan.

Hey, if this playoff ride did not get you psyched up, then you are not a true fan of the game! It was unbelievable!

Even ESPN woke up to realize this.

To answer the question, the Score's most popular announcers were in Houston, so it may be logistically hard to have them doing a live call-in post game from Houston in the late night.
