This returns the Sox to their long-time home on 670. They were with the old WMAQ from 1967 to 1991, other than 1971-72 (WEAW-FM/WTAQ) and 1980-81 (WBBM).

The latest scuttlebutt on the Bulls is that they will either end up on The Score or, less likely, WGN. If Disney didn't want to pony up the dough (the "official" reason for the Sox leaving - something I don't believe for a second unless they really are getting out of radio), then they won't try to keep the Bulls either.
So now The Score has the Sox, Black Hawks (if the NHL ever plays again), and probably the Bulls after next year. They'd have the Bears too if Infinity had their way, but the McCaskeys (especially Mikey) want nothing to do with Mike North and the boys from what I've heard. I think it was the team that insisted on being on WBBM rather than WSCR because of The Score's hostile attitude toward the McCaskeys.
