WSHH #2 IN LATEST PPM NUMBERS

Just a theory, but....

Star has gotten younger to chase Kiss and maybe protect against WAMO since they're right next to them on the dial. Kiss is down a little, so likely more Kiss listeners are spending time with Star, and Star's upper demos are going to WSHH....

WAMO is totally flat by the way. I think we have a pretty good idea now of the signal limitations. By the same token, if they could get a full-market signal or more translators they might pull some numbers (obviously the people who can hear them have stuck around).

Baseball was still good for 104.7 even as the season slipped away, the X had a good month, and LTJ's latest shuffling of airstaff hasn't moved the meter.

KQV would pull better numbers if it actually had news 24/7. Who listens to the When Radio Was crap on there at night? Can't they get some talk leftovers from what is not being aired locally? I suppose they do this because the signal is so limited after sunset?

1. I enjoy when radio was and listen at least 4 nights a week to kqv. I don't have a people meter

2.I believe a lot of stations have more listeners than what the ppm shows.
wltj has more listeners
kdka fm has more listeners
wamo has more listeners
kqv has more listeners
I always felt wshh did when their number were not as high
I talk to people and observe what they are listening to stopped in traffic.

They do this so they don't have to pay people at night when no one is listening.

One area where you have to hand it to KQV.....loyalty to their employees.
It seems like I have been hearing the same voices on there forever. Compared
to what is typical I think they deserve to be recognized for that.
