So, what's up with WSIX's middays? Billy Greenwood is out and The Big 98 is publicly searching for a replacement.

No idea on what is happpening there but one question about the big 98. What happened to Hoss Burns? I know he left about 10 years ago when he found out he had full blown aids. How ever he returned a few years back in a limited capacity but quickly disapeared again. Is he still living? If so is he well enough to work? This guy had it all at on point in time, a great voice, a good personality, he was fun to listen to. Back then 98 was the best station in town
they had House, Hoss, Carl P., and Hollywood. Today other than House they are pail in comparision.

I got an email Friday from Keith Kaufman saying the position has now been filled. No other info.


Yes, little ol' me from Atlanta was one of the people who applied.

Keith Kaufman is telling all the applicants that the job has been filled. Does anybody know who gotit?

Greenwood had to give up his voicetracking for Nashville because the St Louis station he works at promoted him to program director.

Look up a few posts to Monday...I posted then that middays went
to Dennis Hughes, afternoons and PD at WKCY Harrisonburg, VA.
He starts Monday, and will be live.
Now as for Billy...you make it sound like his promotion to PD at
The Bull is some kind of punishment: he obviously wasn't make PD
to force him to quit VT'ing WSIX. PD and afternoons in a major
market competitive race is a big deal.<P ID="signature">______________
