WSJC getting translator

Looks like WSJC Magee might be getting an FM translator. I just hope they don't destroy the 50,000 watt AM blow torch as is what is so common these days when someone gets and FM signal. http://radioinsight.com/headlines/1...vscq-lA3SciWAcdVk0YoEJc3y5uXM1Y1RBSeCBkVq7IG4

I'm not sure if it is a misprint, but it says 95.9 FM which is too close to WBBN B-95 Taylorsville. It says Jackson, but that would be out of range to reach Magee.

I love the station, and I also hope that the AM frequency is not neglected. I have not been listening much on the AM radio because my radio needs to be fixed. However, I frequently listen to the station on my computer. My favorite program is the Gateway to Joy with the late Elizabeth Elliott.

The translator can be located within the 2 mv/m daytime contour or 25 miles of the AM station. WSJC’s 2 mv/m daytime contour reaches Jackson, so the translator can actually locate in or near Jackson.

Sometimes the signal from WSJC isn't quite what it used to be. I think they are running on reduced power part of the time. It's hard to tell because the static problem is so bad in my area that the entire AM band is nearly wiped out. I've also noticed that WTWZ Clinton doesn't seem a loud as it once was.
