WSJS-AM 600 GM is gone

Bob Campbell was not good when he was in Lexington, so I can't imagine how he could carry a heritage station like WSJS??? Where did my friend Smith Patterson land at?? Anyone know??? ??? ???

Smith is at WEGO 980 doing early morning news at 6AM then news from 7 to 10AM with former WMAG/WPTI host Bill Flynn

I actually listened to Bob for quite a bit after I discovered the WSJS App...I kept it going and it streamed very well, I was impressed with the APP.

It is an odd show, I give Bob credit for keeping it local and lighthearted, not railing about RIGHT IS GOOD AND LEFT IS BAD, it just feels very misplaced on the AM 600 signal. The whole time I was listening I could tell Bob wanted to break out of his shell and do some morning rock sophomoric humor (which by the way I enjoy) but it's almost like he can't because of the demographic that WSJS serves...or served depending on how you look at where their audience is at now.

I still haven't got around to listening to WEGO on the mornings. I have listened to Huckabee and some of the nighttime shows, the streaming player wors fine off the WEGO website

WEGO sounds more locally involved than WSJS, at least in the mornings.
