WSJT Question

This is a serious question for serious times. Does anybody know why they have no AM drive personality? They have people the rest of the day.

Don't know if this is the case with WSJT, but that's becoming more and more common now that PPM is being unveiled. PPM has been brutal to your traditional morning show.

CBS does a lot of VT'ing so the station sounds live, as oppossed to Cox. I'd think they'd at least do that

VT'ing a morning show is tricky. I doubt anybody is doing it effectively.

The big companies are now operating under the premise that most listening takes place at work, so they don't feel the big morning shows are a good investment anymore. Same story as 3WS in Pittsburgh.

Doesn't CBS have somebody like Elvis Duran in some market to VT mornings? I think Elvis goes with CC. Who is hot in LA now on AMP or whatever?

Actually, PPM has been brutal to bad/weak morning shows, and has been very kind to great/heritage morning shows. I'm one of those very happy Program Directors whose morning show (WNCI's Dave & Jimmy) outperforms the station in PPM, just as they did in diary measurement.
