WSJV - The World's Smallest Radio Station

Jerry's last name is Clegg, not Craig, and he's still around. His web address is jerryclegg.com.

I worked for Jerry 30+ years ago in Satunton, Virginia. It might have been the greatest learning experience of my life! He was creative, energenic, enthusiastic and he loved competition. Radio today needs a few more like him!

I worked with Jerry in Goldsboro, NC in the early 70's...what a trip.

If you worked in Staunton, VA you may also remember Patsy and Brice Miller, who owned a station there.

Not many know how to say the name of that town. My wife spent many nice years there..and it IS a fine town, with great people. Who knew such great radio existed in Staunton?

why do people think it's pronounced stɒntən?

i found out it's not years ago when i applied at WKDW.

That was back in the day when “radio people” owned radio stations. They really cared about their product and their people. Sadly outside of a few exceptions today, those days are long gone.
