WSKM Crossgates

What became of WSKM-LP 104.3 Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon? Its been off the air for a while and has been removed from the website. I was a little pip squeak station. Barely covered Brandon.

100 watt LPFM. They shut it down, according to one of the members, when the main person responsible for getting it on the air and running it left the church. I have no idea if they will put it back on or not.

The last I checked the low power in Canton was off, 99.3 in Jackson and 90.7 in Raymond was also gone. I'm not sure 99.3 was ever on. Not that anybody really cares, I just thought I'd mention it.

100.5? WRTM Vicksburg--on the same frequency--has a construction permit to move their tower to around Canton/Gluckstadt area, though I don't think that'd be the reason for them being off since the move hasn't happened yet.

I thought 99.3 had been on from two different locations, relaying one of the many sports AM stations in town?

The Canton LPFM was broadcasting a dead carrier on Monday. The RDS text is still active, so I know it was WWCV-LP. I don't recall an LPFM on 99.3 or 90.7 - WJFN-AM is still rebroadcasting on the 99.1 translator as of this morning.

91.7 in Raymond was CSN network and was mostly teaching and Preaching. 90.7 was Christian rock "The Effect". The 99.3 translator was supposed to relay one of the stations (90.7?) but couldn't pick up the Raymond station good enough and apparenty wasn't allowed to have a direct feed. This is what was posted on the networks website some time back.
