WSKO PD

What was that, The shortest stint for a PD? What did he bring to the table and why was he brought in? Is there another agenda for The Score?

He was brought in to be a major talent booster, change the overall image of the station, and bring a veteran attitude. He'd formerly been the voice of the Texas Rangers and Buffalo Bills, not to mention, at one time a ranked tennis player. The guy was the real deal and Citadel figured if he was amazing behind the mic, he could at least be decent behind the desk. Problem was, almost a year had gone by and the station sounded no different than when he got there with one or two exceptions (ie - the addition of the "Sports Slam"). If my math is correct, his stint was roughly as long, perhaps even to the week, as our old pal Dave Barber. Jim Brinson... another GOOD GUY who uprooted his life to move to Providence only to be shot down less than a year later because a first time GM thinks major change can happen in 2 books or less.
