I realize it's only a trend and only 12 plus numbers....

But the people at 95.5 The Wolf (WSM-FM) must be celebrating not only taking the lead over WSIX but also hitting THIRD place in rank. I may very well be wrong, but I dont ever recall seeing that happen before.
______________

APD/nights - 104.5 WSNX Grand Rapids
weekends - 92.5 KISS FM Toledo
Owner/Webmaster - www.ThePowerPig.com - Tribute to WFLZ/Tampa & www.Q105TampaBay.com - Tribute to WRBQ/Tampa

Venus FM

While on the subject of trends, looking at WVNS' numbers yesterday, this station appears to be even more of a ratings disaster than 102.5 the Party ever was. Maybe hot AC just doesn't work in Nashville, given the fact that the former WLAC-FM and WRQQ bailed out of the format?

Can you spell "D.O.A."?

Lousy owner, lousy concept, lousy radio station. There is no surprise here.

The concept itself is not nearly as bad as the execution. This company just doesn't seem to have the mainstream sensibilites to pull off the format; they're well beyond the realm of what they know best. The company seems to be more of a gonzo operation, they should stick to Buzz-type formats. Sad thing is, they don't seem to get it. Beyond that, the best suggestion I can offer them is: Hey! Have you ever thought that, instead of trying to sell advertising on the station, you might just make more money in the long run by selling the station itself?

So, all that talk of flipping to Rock a year or so ago now must be dead as a doornail. I am very glad to see WSM-FM finally where it shoulda been all along.
______________

umm..they do play some classic rock..
______________
note to the NAB..satellite radio..its worth paying for!!

"umm..they do play some classic rock.."

Only what would fit the genre of "country" though (or "Wolf" country). Songs that have the same texture, mood, and sound as the rest of the playlist.

Not classic rock as a format.
