As the only listener, I wonder if anybody knows why they have been coming in on 89.1 in East Tampa like a local since 12AM last night. Did they do something or this a fluke? Thanks
That has to be the reason for the strong reception in Tampa early yesterday, later in the morning, that certainly wasn't the case from what I observed.
Leaving the daytown St. Pete area and heading north on I-275 at 1100, WSMR starting breaking up at 22nd Ave N and by 38th Ave N, WUFT 89.1 was dominant, the only time WSMR was coming in good again was around the highest point of the Gandy Bridge and when I arrived at my destination near Gandy and Bayshore Blvd, both stations were battling it out.
The ducting was over by around 1:15 PM, it was just WSMR ( with some static) when I left the south Tampa area to return to St. Petersburg.
