WSNH Sold Yet Again

According to radioandrecords.com, WSNH-AM has been sold again...this time to something called Absolute Broadcasting. (Does this mean they will carry hard-liquor advertising?).

new owner is a real estate guy...oh boy!

No drinks on the house here. Absolute is the group that has been leasing the station 24/7 and airing mostly ESPN (with a small amount of local sports talk) since late September 2004.

(On a personal note, I wonder how Absolut goes with sour grapes?)

The WLLH-AM tower in Lowell gets into the Nashua area (when WLLH/Lowell is operating that is). When it switches to nationally-syndicated sports, will WSNH have to try something else?

My guess: the new management/ownership of WSNH ("ESPN900") will stick with sports talk for as long as they can make a buck from it. IF the duplication of national programs on WLLH eventually proves to be a problem in Nashua, then MAYBE WSNH might switch networks, but not abandon the format.

Of course, when folks get tired of locker room talk, they can always switch to WSMN --- oh wait, they can't.

Mr Schuyler...was Nicole Papageorge the only person from the previous WSNH
format to remain in broadcasting? (as a WNDS-TV reporter)?
