I would like to get your comments on Sunny 104.5. Is the station going in the right direction with their playlist, etc.?

I find that I am listening to 104.5 more than I usually did.

While I do like the upbeat trend of Sunny, I prefer it more before they realling started emphasizing on the upbeat music. I like a nice mix of upbeat songs, but also a good chunk of more ACish stuff.

I like it a LOT more and listen to it MORE than I usually did on the drive home. The canned John Tesh Show is informative, but I can't listen to it EVERY DAY.The weekends are the best...a lot of 70's we haven't heard in ages. Now if they'd only play Cliff Richard's "We Don't Talk Anymore"......

I liked Sunny best when they first returned. There was more of an "oh wow" factor then. Now, its just the same, regurgitated drek.Thank God for XM....

I definitely think this is the right direction for Sunny. I've also found myself listening to the station much more than previously. In my opinion, the overall upbeat sound is a refreshing alternative to the other stations. I've been enjoying their weekend format in particular.

Well swing the dial over a few positions and check out "The Breeze" if you can. They even play Cliff Richard's duet with Olivia Newton John "Suddenly." Also another one of my 'forgotten favs' by Chris Rea "Fool If You Think It's Over." While I haven't sampled Sunny as of late being located in North Jersey, I would agree that the format sounded BEST to me when it was first debuted! Changes DO have to be made from time to time it's just that changes for the better are the optimum choice. But then again CC is running the show and look what they did to "Broadway Bill Lee" in NYC...Morons!!!!

Why do you think that this station is playing more upbeat music than they did months ago. Are they really tyring to really get ratings? The station now has a Sunday Night dance party broadcasting live from the Lagoon from 8 PM-12 AM every Sunday.

They are not flipping as much as sliding into a Jammin' Oldies format. They are not calling it that because "oldies" is the kiss of death for advertisers. They probably they are hoping they can keep the AC crowd and pick up some Oldies and Danz listeners. For some reason, they seem to want to tweak the demographic make-up of the audience.

A livedance party show on SUNNY 104.5? COuld it be that Clear Channel is attempting to care about it's automated wonder?
