IHeart Radio's WSOL- FM "V101.5" has now changed back to its original Urban AC format with the new moniker "Today's R&B and Throwbacks", which was the format it had before they flipped to Classic Hip Hop in November 2014. With it's previous format, they played Hip Hop and R&B from the late 1980s to the late 2000s. The new format, however, plays more R&B from the early to mid 1980s and the newer Urban AC hits of today. Even though they still play some Hip Hop from the 1990s and 2000s, the station is now less Hip Hop focused than before but it is more R&B focused. Overall, this fills a hole in the Jacksonville, FL market for an Urban AC station with a full power signal because the other Urban AC station WOKV-HD2/ W258CN "Hot 99.5" is just a 250-watt FM translator with a limited signal and it's more of an Urban Oldies station than a traditional Urban AC station.
