WSOX 96.1 - Dave Crockett

I have not listen to this station or went on their website in a while. I noticed Dave Crockett is no longer with the station. What happened to him?
 
Here's what probably happened and this is in no way intended to be a slam on Cumulus York/Lancaster or it's management as I try to take the high road on these boards. Chris Tyler was brought in as PD/Brand manager for WSBA and WARM 103. Bobby D., the PD of SOX had WARM dumped on his plate awhile back. Now, with only SOX to worry about....they needed to plug him in to a full daily airshift. It was a chance to eliminate a salary. I agree...Dave is a true pro and I wish him luck. He should be able to land some agency work. While we hate to see good people go, this is the new normal....Broadcast Economics 101.
 
It is sad to say that this is the fall of our industry, real talent being let go just for the bottom line! Some how the "BEAN-COUNTERS" have taken control!
