WSRO Format Change

That made me think of how WZLY Wellesley College, all of 7 watts with a grandfathered -FM license,.was thinking of
selling and going completely online. What became of that (they figured no need to comply with FCC regs on logs or profanity), I wondered?
Looked up--no takers, I guess...and students voted to keep the station going on terrestrial radio.

Were not an LPFM either... were limited to 100W but we could go higher then 100 feet and wouldnt have to drop power

Is there a minimum power for translators? The New Haven translator at 107.1 for WJMJ Hartford is listed at 3 watts. That's the lowest power I've seen. Can translators run less than 1 watt?

There is no minimum power requirement for a translator or booster station. The maximum allowed effective radiated power is 250 watts.

Yes, owner alex Langer died at the age of 65.. it and WZBR 1410 are off air due to his death and the family will be selling them.
