WWPR and WTMY are both jokes. Unless you want to pay money and hear yourself on the radio they have no listeners. WSRQ at least attempts some local origination on AM. Even WIBQ, 1220 has some local origination, but they have a pipsqueek signal of only 250 watts off that Cell tower in Mennonite land. 1450 is not as good as they could be if they had any competition, but at least I give them some level of credit for what they do. They could easily hook up to the Starguide 24/7. The real waste is the best AM signal in the area 930, being run out of Tampa. They cant even hear the station at the studio. Such a waste. Maybe if 1320 gets their 35 kw upgrade and moves their towers to Manatee County we might get a decent AM in the area.
