WSRS goes all Christmas

Christmas music has now ended, and it appears that the station has rebranded itself as "96-1 SRS Today's Variety." I wonder if this means they'll be tweaking the format. I just hope they don't drop American Top 40.

On the WSRS stream at least Christmas Song by the Lettermen.
9:20am.Then Temptations,Little Drummer Boy. Yesterday sister station WBWL was mixing reg
format songs with Christmas incl non country artists
like Andy Williams

As of a couple hours ago or so (1040pm as I write this), Magic was still mixing in a couple of Christmas songs here and there (but not 24/7) but Lite Rock 105 was still all Christmas.

It will be interesting to see what WSRS does with the morning show post-Greg Byrne. I didn't listen at all this week. Was Suzanne on alone or was someone else with her??

I've been listening on and off all day today. There was no American Top 40 this morning but if you plug 'Casey Kasem' into the search bar on their website, it still shows AT40 from 8am to noon on Sunday. Maybe it will be back in January.

The music, to me, doesn't sound any different. And I heard Zito make a mention of his daily 80s show (which I think is at 5pm). Yes, Delilah is still on the station (blech!).

This is what they posted yesterday on Facebook about their new logo and such: Now we say it, the way you say it. No point, no W. 96 1 SRS, Today's Variety! Listen Now @ 961SRS.com

Christmas music is not completely over on WSRS... I mean....96-1SRS. Delilah is still playing the stuff. Ugh!!

Sadly, American Top 40 is not on this morning either although their website does actually say that Casey Kasem is on the air this morning. But it's Greg Bedard holding down the Sunday morning slot. Greg Bedard also held down the weekday morning show several times (maybe every time) over the last two weeks while Suzanne Lewis has been on a year end vacation. Suzanne returns tomorrow morning.

Seems Greg Bedard is holding down the morning show with Suzanne Lewis for now. So we've gone from Gregg (Byrne) and Suzanne to Suzanne and Greg (Bedard). No need to change the monogrammed towels I guess. :D

Looking at their website, another change at WSRS: Kera Burke is out, Jana is in. But she is still listed in mornings with Zito at Mix 93.1. WSRS's lineup runs with Suzanne Lewis (along with Greg Bedard); Jana; Zito; and Delilah. Tony Bristol is listed as well.
