WSRS/Worcester: new morning co-host starts 3/19

WSRS's Facebook page mentions that Greg Byrnes' new co-host (whomever she may be) starts next Monday the 19th. Scanning the dial this morning about 9:15 or so, happened to catch Greg Byrne doing a live Sleepy's Mattress commercial and he said that he would be appearing at their location in Westboro this Saturday and his new co-host would be there too. No mention of a name.
 
Amazing that Clear Channel is budgeting for a morning show co-host in Worcester, of all markets. There are stations in much larger markets that have no local hosts whatsoever.
 
She's going to be a great fit. She's done mornings in the Worcester area a number of years ago, and has been around New England for a while :)
 
Well, gee, Greg doesn't let anyone get a word in, so I have no idea WHY he needs a co-host. Although I would much prefer to listen to Jackie Brush than Greg.

Oh well. Does anyone know if Jackie is okay? Or where she is?

They have so few people listening they only got a 12 share last book... bummer. They had almost double the share of the #2 station, WAAF (12.0 v. 6.7.)

Seriously, what an idiotic thing to say. Are you kidding me? Dislike them because you don't like Mainstream A/C. Dislike them because they're owned by Clear Channel. But recognize success when you see it: WSRS owns Worcester radio, and central MA for that matter. They have the ratings and they have the billing.

Heidi did middays at WBMW Ledyard/New London for 3 or 4 years, prior to that she did middays for a number of years on Lite Rock 105 WWLI Providence. Prior to that, she did mornings on Oldies 98.9 WORC-FM. She's also done part time work at WMJX Boston and WMAS-FM Enfield/Springfield.
 
Never heard of her but she's awful purdy from that picture on their website. I'm away on vaca this week. I'll take a listen when I get back.
 
So has anyone listened to the show? How's Heidi sound and how do she and Greg sound as a team?
 
Heidi sounds excellent--conversational, upbeat, quick witted. The team thing will take a little time to develop. I think she's Boston material though.
