WSRZ in Sarasota - Casey Kasem AT 40 shows

For the past month or so WSRZ in Sarasota has been playing the old Casey Kasem AT 40 shows from the 70s on Sunday mornings. I have listened the past three weeks and each time when they get to the top 3 or 4 songs, the show goes to commercial break and never comes back.

The show Beatle Brunch starts at 11 am and so they usually run one or two more songs after the break and then they got right into the show...

why run a whole show and then dump out at the end??? makes no sense. Couldn't they time out the show better so the listener could hear the top 3 songs????

asleep at the wheel i guess.

MAYBE if there was a live human being in the building, this wouldn't happen...Obviously management really doesn't give a damn.....typical in today's world...

A few weeks ago, I tuned into WSRZ via iHeartRadio on a Sunday at around 11:30 AM to catch "Beatle Brunch." The show was just wrapping up. Yep - ended about twenty minutes earlier than usual. I bet their hacking of "AT40" prior to "Brunch" could be why. Still makes no sense, though.

Listened to WSRZ running Kasem again today and they must have gotten the memo. Heard the entire top 5..........now i happy..... :)

Lots of stations across the country are streaming AT40 online, you might find a better time to listen than your local station.

Not only that, you can record the livestream if you wish, there's plenty of software around to accomplish that with.

List of stations streaming AT40 here: http://radio.nenad.net/?hz=0.00&submitted=true&y=AT40CK70
