Scott Miller Joins The River As MD/Afternooner

ENTERCOM/MEMPHIS OM JERRY DEAN tells ALL ACCESS, "I'm happy to announce that I've just hired a new afternoon drive jock/Music Director for AC WRVR (THE RIVER)/MEMPHIS. His name is SCOTT MILLER. SCOTT is coming to THE RIVER after 5 years at WSRZ/SARASOTA. Prior to that he'd worked at stations such as WJMK/CHICAGO and CKLW/DETROIT. I'm thirlled to have someone of SCOTT's experience and track record joining the already talented airstaff here at THE RIVER. SCOTT will be starting on air in a couple of weeks."

That's the 3rd CKLW alumnus to leave WSRZ that I know of... Big Jim, Grant Hudson, and now Scott Miller

And congrats to all three for getting out. It's only a matter of time before everyone gets thrown out and it's all automated.

It all reminds me of a scene from the old movie with Joel Grey - Cabaret.....

MONEY, MONEY MONEY .....!!!!!

I guess I should be glad I'm no longer in radio... even if only part time...

I'm going to miss Scott. Great guy and Larry Lujack's show shine boy. Best wishes at the River. ;)

I was in SRZ land and heard Scott's 'goodbye' at the end of this last show. I didn't know DJ's could do that these days....I thought they just disappeared into the ether. (It was a class bit.)
