WSTR question

I still have to wonder how long Star's current format will last - it seems to be more of a novelty format than anything. I remember well when 105.7 The Groove launched in 2009 it had nearly the same format and sound, but within months the format had evolved into Rhythmic CHR and most of the mainstream retro dance hits were dropped from the play list. It was later the following year when the Groove was rechristened as WILD 105.7.

Entercom did a perceptual, testing the potential of multiple formats, before launching Rhythmic AC. So they didn't just pull it out of the air.

You might or might not be correct, but 105.7 has a very limited signal, a reason why a Latino format is now on the frequency. It does cover Gwinnett well.
