WSTW

I know this is a philadelphia board but i was on my facebook and Mike Rossi announced that he is no longer at the station WSTW. The reason that i am posting this is that i am wondering if the request lunch hour that Rossi is know for doing will continue. And also wondering if there is anything drastic happening to the station

Whether pandemic-related, or just looking to shed $, Forever Broadcasting (WSTW's owner) has done several rounds of cuts across it's stations, both in Wilmington, and across Pennsylvania.

I doubt anything will happen to WSTW's format. It makes bank for the Wilmington market. As for the All-Request lunch? If they don't drop someone in to voicetrack the midday, I can see whoever takes the midday slot (for less than what Mike was making), I don't see why the All-Request lunch wouldn't continue

Reasonably sure the format stays. As noted, this reads like a cost cutting move. Just the reality of the world. Individual features of one particular day part—meh, time will tell.
