WSWO Record Sale October 23-24

Ultimate Oldies Radio is cleaning house - again!

Our listeners keep donating records, and there are only so many we can use. So we're having another record sale as a fund-raiser for our non-profit operation. This one includes everything - vinyl LPs & 45s, as well as CDs. Over 8,000 items, with no single item selling for more than $4.

In fact, there are about 600 LPs that are valuable enough that we'd thought about listing them on eBay. But it's too much hassle, so they get thrown in with everything else.

The sale is from noon to 6pm on Saturday, October 23; and noon to 6pm on Sunday, October 24th. We're also holding a cruise-in during those hours on Sunday. Last time we had over 200 classic cars come out.

The sale is at 6114 Chambersburg Road in Huber Heights. There will be no early sales - the doors open at noon. But there will be quantity discounts. These records are unsorted - you'll have to dig to find the treasures.

Tell your record-collecting friends. There are some real bargains in here!

What Genres of music? Is this ALL Genres of music or a specific kind of music (Pop Rock?, Classical?, Progressive Rock?, Soul?)

Any ideas?

You name it - it's in there. Rock, country, classical, pop, comedy, religious, big band, and more.

We've had several queries on how to find the site of the record sale.

Chambersburg Road is a mile or two south of I-70. 6114 Chambersburg is in the Huber Centre, just west of Brandt Pike (Hwy 201). Look in the west end of the shopping center, across the street from St Peter's Church.
