WSYB Rutland Historical Article in "Sams Good News"...

Great radio historical read in www.samsgoodnews.com/ which a great locally produced weekly paper serving the greater Rutland County area and beyond. Not sure if this article has been posted online yet. This one's for the radio fan. The articles that were dug up go back to 1930 prior to the sign on of WSYB in Rutland. I wonder if the article was prone to a bit of hyperbole as it talks about a 100 watt transmitter reaching distances of 100 miles or more, "under excellent air conditions'. Great timing since WSYB's 77th birthday comes on December 10th. The "Sam" in "Sam Good News" has radio in his veins as he was the long time General Manager of WJJR several ownerships ago.
