WSYR News Director Resigns.

Most times when a news director quits and the ratings are OK it's one of three things...a better offer from someplace else, an offer of a gig that lets him or her do something different and escape the grind (ND is a punishing high pressure job), or a conflict (professional or personal) with a key member of the air talent lineup. I'd tend to discount the last of those three, simply because speaking from personal experience, Rod Wood is one of the easiest people in the business to work with and get along with.

Wow. That must have been the be all of newsroom fights.

It's bad enough playing around with the help. It's really bad when guilty party's own daughter rats on her father.
