WTAE will air the Mayoral debates

“Our city is facing exciting economic opportunities, as well as uncertain challenges,” said WTAE News Director Jim Parsons. “With so much at stake, we’re committed to providing citizens with the information they need to cast their vote. And it’s a commitment we take seriously.”

The Hearst-owned ABC affiliate has teamed up with The League of Women Voters of Greater Pittsburgh.

It will air on Wednesday, April 19, commercial free on WTAE, thisTV Pittsburgh and streamed online.

The live debate will be simulcast on thisTV Pittsburgh and streamed live on WTAE.com and the WTAE app. WTAE Channel 4 will rebroadcast the debate on Saturday, April 22nd at 5:00 p.m.

WTAE anchor, Sally Wiggin will moderate. Other local television and print reporters will be panelists.
