WTBQ 99.1 FM to Move Accross the dial

As of 8:30 pm tonight (1/31), WTBQ made the move. 93.5 is on with a good signal into the Middletown area, much better than 99.1. Not in stereo, though. It's a pleasure to hear local radio again.

I just heard that WGNY-FM at 98.9 in Rosendale is going on the air as of later this month. Is it going to be a simulcast of "Fox Oldies" or maybe an AC format as "The Fox" from 96.7 and 103.1? But I don't see WGNY-FM going AC at 98.9 as of yet, we got too many AC stations like "Lite-FM", "Mix" and WHUD. Those three HV AC stations are just a waste. I found a link to WGNY-FM on Radio Locator site, but it says "Currently off the air", but it's not on the air as of yet. Will see.
