WTBS 26/WANN 32 Channel Line Up

Since WTBS-LD 26 and WANN-LD have been on air, it seems their sub-channels have always been ever-changing & rotating, I think they deserve a thread of their own.

32.30-TBA (Simulcast of Channel 32.3)

Since my first post, exactly 0.02 people give a rat's ass about it and less than that have actually WATCHED channels 26 or 32....soooo...an update!

WTBS has stayed the same and since it appears that 26.6' 26.7, 26.9 & 26.10 are gone for good (nothing is forever with these two stations) I'll take them off of the list below.

WANN still has This TV listed in the PSIP channel 32.3 identification even though they are no longer affiliated with the network. They are still showing infomercials 24/7 on channel 32.3.

Diya TV USA, a South Asian (Pakistan?) OTA network is now on channel 32.7 replacing PB&J. American Children all over Atlanta have been seen weeping uncontrollably. Pakistani-Atlantans take to the street in riots of celebration.

32.23 Is now "PROJECT" which has the same format as WKLS-FM formerly held when it was known as Project 9-6-1.

32.24 is now "PWR 961" representing the new, ultra suck WKLS "Power 96-1 FX" which can only mean that it is powered by the almighty power of sucking because there certainly isn't any "power rock" music to be heard there.

32.25 is now listed as "WiLD967" for WiLD 96.7 FM. It has the best music in Atlanta at the moment because it is completely silent, though one figures that soon it will resume blasting all of the shits Atlanta loves.

32.27 adds the AM suffix to their PSIP info making it listed as "1120 AM" on air. This clarification brings about world peace. Or not.

32.28 is now "1310AM" which is WPBC, yet another Mexican music station.
El Yippee.
I miss "TBA 1."

WANN is a mickey mouse operation..I have sent emails and called...never a reply...even went to their 'office, mid-day, mid-week..CLOSED

Must be a 'one-man' operation ::)

IIRC there was an ad for a person to "staff" this station. If I remember correctly checking on the condition of the satellite receivers and insuring the automation systems were loaded was the main part of the job. I think it really is a "one" person operation.

Yes, did not know about the ad, however, I was trying to see about possibility of a PT position with them after I had retired....wanted to drop-off a resume, but again, never made contact or knew who to send to. It was really creepy.

I visited the address off their website. 'they' are located in a large 2 story building on J Carter Blvd which use to house an import rug business many years ago. It is now a 'mall' of many small retail shops catering to the Indian/Arab population.

Walking thru the place looking for them I kept thinking, why would a TV station be located here. I felt I was walking thru an open-mart in New Delhi. They were listed on the directory at main entrance, yet all the 'suite' numbers were not in sequence. Took a lot of walking around to find. When I did find them, they were stuck in a hard to find corner of the 2nd floor (came upon them by accident), with a small vinyl-decal sign on the glass door, 'WANN-TV'. The glass door was tinted making it hard to see inside. Locked of course. I believe I was there at 2PM on a Tuesday. Place was dark and dingy. It was really creepy. ::)

Here is their FCC stuff:

http://transition.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/tvq?list=0&facid=53585

from the imported letters the station own might be Mohammad Habib:

http://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/prod/cdbs/forms/prod/getimportletter_exh.cgi?import_letter_id=24995

That might explain their studio location.

The "President" of Prism might be VINCENT CASTELLI based on their form filed to end the STA :

https://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/w...xt=25&appn=101533948&formid=910&fac_num=53585

The best I can tell they are going the "stealth" route.

Was the station silent for almost a year? The bottom of the STA seems to indicate they were silent from Jan to Dec of 2012.

Why do they have an application to reduce power from 105 kw to 15 kw ERP? It appears that the license, CP, and application all use a different antenna at the same HAAT. So, why keep changing out the antenna?

Maybe you're reading abouth the analog LP being silent. The digital LD has been on the air.

And the ad you're probably thinking of is one I posted for WYGA for a station manager/wasp cleaner outer.
