WTEN

I must say its a great service for local stations to notify their viewers of school closings. On the other hand when WTEN displays all the closings and delays they use up much of the screen with advertising and other logo. This causes the tv screen to be only about 50% of normal size. To say the least this is very annoying. Other stations do not use up as much of the screen as WTEN does. Does anyone else find this as bothersome as I do?

I've ALWAYS found this annoying, since I (and many other viewers) don't have kids in school any longer. A simple one-line scroll at the bottom of the screen would suffice.
Not to hijack your post, but what do you make of WTEN's changes to their news programming?

I liked the morning news the way it was. I'm not sure if Annie got demoted by being moved to weekends, but I like her style.

Update: From TMJ4 in Milwaukee: Annie Scholz joined TODAY’S TMJ4 in May of 2011. “I was born in Chicago, and my family is right on the border, so this feels like coming home.” We'll miss you, Annie :(

And she's doing a good job at 'TMJ. Lots of energy!
