WTHK transmitter move?

97.5 the Hawk's signal seems weaker today here in Southern Middlesex county. Have they moved their transmitter to Philadelphia already?

They are still in Trenton, they have the same signal strength in SP as always.

I relized WLNG was coming through on 92.1 which I normaly use for my I Pod. Long Island signals including WALK were stronger then normal on Wendsday Afternoon.

BAY WATCH

I was by the Mermaid Lane tower today, my cousin lives in Chestnut Hill near Beaver College, kinda close to the rickity, decrepit tower, (timber) ya gotta see it to believe it. There are no new bays in place, just the three triangular ones, on the very top for WJJZ and the smaller ones 3/4 of the way up for WJJZ's backup, the tower is loaded with dishes, microwaves and small antennas, how it still stands is beyond me. I will keep you posted if any new bays go up, as 4 now, status quo.

Something was going on last night... Tropo maybe? In central Jersey, 102.9 DRC-FM from Hartford could easily be heard (I even was getting some signs of an HD signal!). Additionally, CT stations like WEBE 108 and 96-7 The Coast were coming in loud and clear while some stations I can normally receive like WWZY/Long Branch were almost unlistenable.
