WTIC-FM History Question

My first time visiting the Hartford area was in the late 80s. I remember that Kiss and TIC-FM were in the midst of a CHR war. That continued through at least 1993, as I remember being in the area that summer and hearing both stations. When did TIC-FM move to Hot AC? Was it in 1994? Or later than that?
