WTIC Promo

Occassionally WTIC is running a promo that plays clips from all their weekday programs - Ray & Diane, Jim Vicevich, El Rushbo, Bruce & Collin, UCONN Football, Sports Talk, Clark Howard, The Dream Doctor, The Boston RedSox, and New England Weather Service Forecasts. Missing from the promo is Coast to Coast AM. Anyone know why Coast to Coast AM isn't in the promo?

Again, why don't you just call them up and ask them yourself?

Since stations make their money off prime time (6am-7pm in radio) and grab attention with marquee product (Sox, UConn, etc), it makes more sense to spend time promoting those products to drive listeners there. So many times, Red Sox listeners don't use the radio station for programs in other dayparts. Besides, Coast To Coast AM is available on so many Class I and Class II stations in late night, it's hardly a unique item.

Now, before I get the "Rush is on 500 stations" argument, let's agree that Rush is much more an "appointment listening" program to a much wider audience.
