Does anyone on this board know the status of this CP? At first it was to change the city of license from Tampa to SP and to move the towers to Tampa, then the CP was later modified to keep Tampa as the city of license and to keep the towers at the present site, just a few blocks north of Gandy Blvd (Saint Petersburg side of Gandy) at it's present tower location. I believe the last CP was made in late 2014 or early 2015 and to date, I haven't heard anyone discuss it or hear WTIS do any testing on the 1100 frequency.
I really can't imagine the frequency change which would allow 24 hour operation would make that much difference in revenue or ratings, but I could be very wrong........ Not being an insider and privy to what the rationale was for this CP.
