WTIX

WHat is the status of WTIX-AM? I know its currently off the air and most of the staff is in Houston, safe, but is there window when the station may be back on the air?

'TIX is such a legendary station in NOLA, I would hat to think that it was a casualty of Katrina.

Don,

I heard from the GM of WTIX a few days ago. He said they have not yet been to the transmitter site, but are fearing the worst. However, he says WTIX will rebuild.

That's all I know..received this from him this past Sunday, I believe.<P ID="signature">______________
