WTKK 2006 Lineup

O

Guest
I'm on the WTKK e-mail list and receive an e-mail with the following info:

NEW YEAR. NEW LINE UP
2006 promises to be an exciting year in Massachusetts with Governor Romney announcing that he will not seek re-election. The Governors race should be a heated battle.

The National scene will re-enact Red States vs. Blue States and 96.9 FM TALK will keep a close eye and ear on the political horizon. Mark your calendar to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the 7th Annual Kiss Me, I'm Imus March 17, 2006. We'll wrap up the year with the FM TALK All Stars - one night, one stage this Fall. And, last but not least the new line-up on 96.9 FM TALK. __________________________________________________________

THE MORE THEY CHANGE THE MORE THEY STAY THE SAME.

Start your mornings with radio's legendary Imus in the Morning (5:30 am - 10am); followed by Boston's own Mike Barnicle (10am - 12 noon); don't miss the escapades of Eagan and Braude (12 noon - 1pm); rounded out by The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly (1pm - 3pm).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

GET THE NATURAL TRUTH
Michael Graham continues to win his way into the hearts, homes and cars of FM TALK listeners' weekdays from 3pm - 7pm. Michael tells it like it is with "the natural truth" covering both local and national issues shaping the day. Look for Michael to visit your town in 2006 with the Natural Truth Tour.

EVENINGS ON 96.9 FM TALK WILL NEVER BE THE SAME

We had him here first! FM TALK's original bad boy - Jay Severin returns to the Boston airwaves beginning January 3rd from 7pm - 10pm. We've always known that he has issues - now the rest of the country will find out. Welcome home Jay.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IT'S NOT JUST A RADIO SHOW. IT'S AN ADDICTION.
Laura Ingraham heats up the nights from 10pm - 12 midnight as she captivates her listeners for a fast-paced, witty ride through politics, the news and Hollywood.
_________________________________________________________

STOP THE INSANITY.

He's a great American and can be heard on 96.9 FM TALK from 12 midnight - 2am. Sean Hannity brings a fresh perspective on conservative values and politics. Get Hannitized.
__________________________________________________________
THIRD SHIFTERS AND INSOMNIACS

And for you Third Shifters...your hearts be still...John & Jeff get you through the night from 2am-5am.

I'd rather they dump Borenicle for Laura live, but I know it's not going to happen.

How long before Taste of Boston is cancelled and Hannity appears on WRKO at 7?

Hacks.

>>Welcome home Jay.

WTKK Poughkeepsie (his home town)?
WTKK Sag Harbor? :)

Oh OK: So only 2 hours of Ingraham, and 2 hours of Hannity,
but they're both there. All right. I figured they could have
done 2 hrs of Hannity 3-5 pm, then 2 hours of Graham, but this
works, too. And folks, Hannity is only tape delayed 9 hours now
instead of 7 :)

And John and Jeff are still on, Party People.
______________

Actually it works for me because I work nights (till 2:30 am) and it
gives me good stuff to hear.

I would listen to:
Howie on RKO, then _maybe_ try Jay for awhile...then Laura,
then Sean.

No, Hannity is on at midnight! That is a joke. Do they have to pay full price to only carry two hours worth of Laura and Sean?

Exactly. I'd much rather hear Laura live in the late morning. Ever since I heard Barnicle on the Imus show a few months ago, and he got the call letters wrong for WTKK (his HOME station).

And ONLY station

Anyone have the clip?

That's priceless. Anyone have the clip?

Insert needless Irish drunk / Frankie Blue comment here.

I don't know but it could well be that putting him on at midnight means they
want to keep him away from other stations. If WRKO got him, they put Sean
on at 7 pm (and maybe relegate Feinberg's food/lifestyle show to weekends)
which would directly compete with Severino.
______________

How about if they replace Barnicle with tape-delay of last night's "John & Jeff"? Maybe they could adopt Hank Morse and mix in some good Medford talk? Party hearty dudes.
