WTKK Evenings

Although the UPS does not receive tax dollars to operate it does borrow from the US Treasury to meet it deficit. Would any private business that lost 8.5 billion dollars in one year continue to function? The US Postal Service is authorized in the Constitution. Would there need to be a Constitutional amendment to eliminate it?

Most postal workers are basically highly overpaid unskilled laborers. It always amuses me when I meet a conservative who happens to be on a public payroll. They are for small government, are anti union, and against pension systems for everyone except themselves

Jefferson: "Maybe we should put something in there about radio"

Adams: "What's radio?" :)

I'm not necessarily anti-union. I belong to one (APWU). Cut me some slack, it's my 49th birthday and I'm taking a personal day (plus sadly one of my co-workers passed on just outside our
facility yesterday: RIP Annette Chase, 48)

It is the managers at the USPS who pay themselves huge money, while the front line employees are underpaid and work under the worst of conditions. I wouldn't want my ex wife to work for the USPS
(full disclosure I left the USPS to go to the MBTA, best decision I ever made!)

I could do without public radio and probably PBS.

As for 96.9, they decided not to renew their night talent back in November. They should have had a plan in the works when they made that decision. I can see for a couple of weeks they would use fill in's or other sources, but here we are a month plus past where a new show should have been in place and there is no new program in place, unless TBD counts.

Revolution what?

One can really thank the Red Sox en Español for any ratings gains at 1510. ::)

The format will only last as long as Santos can keep affording the lease...

thanks vmorrison!

Revolution Boston is prog talk shows, brokered time by Jeff Santos
Mark S (Boston Radio Watch) was noting in a tweet that new ratings period starts tomorrow so maybe we'll know soon who the new WTKK evening host is, unless they plan to keep
running Smerconish
