WTKK Graham tapes subpoenaed (Islamic mosque)

"The group building a vast Islamic mosque and social center in Roxbury has subpoenaed a local radio talk station after one of its prominent hosts, Michael Graham, discussed the project on the air.
A lawyer for the Islamic Society of Boston said the subpoena is part of routine evidence gathering for its defamation case against The Boston Herald, WFXT-TV (Fox 25) and advocacy groups that have questioned the mosque, including the David Project, a Jewish group.
Some civil liberties lawyers who reviewed the subpoena, however, expressed concern that it goes too far and could chill free expression....Phil Redo, Greater Media/Boston general manager, said the station will hand over audiotapes of the broadcasts, but not in time for a deadline of tomorrow set by ISB."
 
They should subpoena the tapes to see if there's any evidence of talent there--man should be jailed fror impersonating a talk show host.
 
Good luck getting anything subpoenaed in Saudi Arabia, the creedist, imperialist country that's financing this mosque and its Islamist message.

Our sons and daughters are dying in Iraq and Afganistan by those who believe what this mosque will be teaching in our very own back yard.  Where is Homeland Security?

Graham has a whiny voice.
 
Say what you want about Graham but a least he's got guts. When he was at WBAL, he said some things that offended the Muslims and the station wanted him to appologize and do community service as penance. He outright refused and lost his job over it.

How many other talk show host would be willing to lose their job for something that they believed in?

Graham may not have the greatist voice in the world, but he's a much needed voice in an industry filled with corporate suck-ups that will say and do whatever the corporation wants.

I commend WTTK for hiring Graham and hope that he will be in Boston for many years to come. We need more talk show hosts like him.
