WTKK...have you got something to hide?

Why is it that just a couple of days before 96.9 WTKK premieres the McPhee show from 7PM-10PM weeknights, they have not provided us with an updated schedule?.......Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they are dropping one of their nightly syndication programs in the tenth largest radio market.

Bill O'reilly was in town today, so how dare they drop him while he is visiting Boston.

So, will it be O'reilly or ingraham that gets dropped? Personally, I hope its O'reilly, but WTKK seems to be hiding it from us less than 3 days before the "big" premeire (btw, I just can't wait to hear that woman's quality voice everynight on my radio. Oh, wait, my radio will go off WTKK at 7PM, so I won't even get a chance to hear the mess).

Yes, strange that WTKK is set to debut McPhee 7-10 pm this Monday (just in time for Tuesday's NH
primary) and I assume Ingraham (tape delayed) will follow. No change on the site and also no
"WTKK talk insider" club email with news of the change...yet.

Well, it's the 11th largest market now. :)

I haven't followed it, but didn't O'Reilly put up his best performance against Rush in Boston? Has that waned? Ingraham's shrill voice really bothers me. Besides, you can always pack a picnic lunch, drive to Beverly and sit next to WNSH's tower to hear her show.

C'mon...her show is heard on WNSH from 9:00 am till noon while the station is pumping out 30K. It can be heard clearly for miles and miles and miles: ok, maybe 20. BTW, since WNSH calls itself female-oriented radio, after listening to it for a while, I get the urge to piss sitting down.

I don't mind Laura's voice; my definition of shrill would be a former first lady ("I am sick and tired of
people who say...", that clip that Hannity has run). She and her cohorts can have a lot of fun
with sound clips, etc. (Fridays is Clip of the week day)

Laura's got one of the better shows out there, it sucks that she's still on delay. The key to a good show is to keep the banter going and not bore the audience to tears with a slow, over-analytical droning that typifies Severin and Graham.

Still no update on site and still no email from Amazing Grace telling us to tune in for McFeeble. So is BOR
gone, or Laura? Hopefully BOR, though he's in the news for an alleged encounter with an Obama staffer
the other day and it might be interesting to hear him talk about it today/tonight. I would think
Greater would want to have their local talker in place tonight what with the NH Primary being tomorrow.

Would 'RKO do some local talk at 7 pm tomorrow night instead of Savage? 'BZ is doing primary talk,
with one sister station becoming Shot-SCORE!!! 103.3 for the night.

It's definitely Laura that follows Michelle. The WTKK web site is now updated. Seems like Bill O'Reilly is out, unless they tape delay him for weekends. The weekend schedule on the site hasn't been updated yet

yes, it looks like's he's completely out. They'd rather do radio rewinds on some weekend slots...and speaking of radio rewinds, as I suspected, Graham's replay is gone--they are carrying all 3 hrs of Laura, 10 pm-1 am.
A mere 13 hour tape delay. BOR may still be on some other stations in the area and I wonder if WTTT or
WRKO would pick him up (in case of latter, where? At 10 pm in place of Doyle? But he'd get pre-empted often
by Sox, esp. with RKO's tendency to run Savage delayed in place of Doyle when there's sports earlier.)

With the primary in NH, the local shows won't be that much different than the syndies. As far as 96.9 dropping No-Spin, I say let them cut their own throats.

good point on Doyle--TalkRadioNetwork package deal I guess--kinda "must carry" eh. TRN also does Ingraham and Hendrie (WTKK), Tammy Bruce (WNSH)
